Cut decals with scissors. Do not tear them off over an edge or cut them with a razor blade.
Wet the surface of the model before applying the decal. Use lukewarm water. (or Micro Set, the one with the blue sticker *)
Dip the decal in lukewarm water for about 5-10 seconds, take it out and let it sit for about a minute. Do not let it slide off the paper.
Using locking tweezers, pick up the decal and place it over the model. Hold the decal in position with your finger or a soft brush and carefully pull the paper out from under the decal and gently place the decal on the model.
Position the decal in its position with a brush. Add a little water (or Micro Set *) if the decal is difficult to slide.
Once the decal is in the correct position, let it dry on its own. Only fiddle with it if it is in the wrong position.
When the decal is dry and in the correct position, apply the solvent (Micro Sol or Solvaset *).
Never touch the decal until it is dry. The ink will smear and the decal will be unusable.
When the decal is dry, remove dust etc. with a Q-tip that has been slightly moistened with water to which a little dishwashing liquid has been added.
Now seal the decal with a product of your choice such as clear varnish, etc. Do not skip these steps in order, otherwise it will be critical.
I hope these steps help you and remember, a good job with the decal does not look like a decal was applied
