For an optimal airbrush result, the right combination of nozzle, color type, thinner, spray distance and air pressure is required. Try it with water first, then test with paint. It is important that the paint is sufficiently diluted (consistency = milk) and that the pigments in the paint are not too large; e.g. for the “fineline nozzle”.
